I ordered some travel money (Mexican Pesos) and the lowest note is 200.
Before i fly, is there anywhere that offers to break down currency to lower denominations? We can't do it once in country as we are miles from civilisation and i trying to break it down for tips etc.

I think you should be able to get smaller change at the establishments (hotel?) where you expect to be giving tips for service you receive, either naturally as change for payments or by requesting it from cashiers. Those receiving such tips probably have plenty of change available it you ask them.
It would have been better to obtain and use a suitable fee-free card for travel (or perhaps you have), instead of the hassle and less ideal rates involved in ordering cash. These can be used for direct payment and ATM withdrawals at the best exchange rates at the time. The Starling Bank debit card arrives a couple of days after you open the account on their phone app, for example. No costs are involved whether you use it or not.Evolution, not revolution0 -
Where did you order it from
if its a place that has a high street shop or airport location sometimes if they have it in stock you maybe able to swap it
I do it for customers who order from Asda online and get large notes , am happy to exchange for smaller if they are nice to me"If I know I'm going crazy, I must not be insane"0 -
A 200 Peso note is only worth around £8 so not exactly a ‘large note’ as such!0
