On Wednesday 24th July, me and 4 others were travelling back from Amsterdam Schiphol airport when our flight was cancelled less than 2 hours before we were due to fly due to “fuelling issues”. Over 100 flights we cancelled from Schiphol so we we’re unable to get another flight out that day. EasyJet arranged for the 5 of us to get on a flight at 8:55am on Thursday 25th of July, the next day and more than 12 hours after the original flight time however we were given a hotel to stay in free of charge by easyJet. Is it still worth pursuing a compensation claim for the inconvenience even though we were given a flight the next day and a hotel for the night. we experienced great stress as we were told that our new flight could also be cancelled if the fuelling issue could not be resolved and delays could continue for up to 48hrs.
Thanks
Chloe

It was out of their control, wasn't it that they had no fuel? If so you won't get compensated but did pretty good getting a hotel considering.0
