Pony trekking in Wales with my best friend at the age of 17. I still remember this holiday fondly as one of my favourites. Poignant because my friend died at age 52, and I still miss her although our paths crossed less after we left school at 18.0

Motorbike camping holiday around the perimeter of France, taking in Spain, Italy, Switzerland and Germany at 19Yo. In 1978.
If I remember correctly we set off with about £200 each ( 2 people on 2 bikes)and this was enough for all food and drink, campsites and fuel!0
