    I'd do what they said in the article and which is to get someone to remove it. To !!!! with legal !!!!!!!!.

    The underlined bit is key ... if you block in a vehicle but don't refuse to remove the block (yet take a reasonable time to remove the block) then no offence is committed. :)

    I really wonder if the police would have the slightest interest in intervening in this situation
    I wonder who dictates what is a reasonable time especially if the keys are elsewhere

    If you had the time, money and inclination - you could build a wall around it and put a roof on it
    That would confuse the offending driver...
