Hi
A car was apparently parked in an area that it shouldn't have 2 weeks in a row. The driver didn't realise until they got a ticket. After that the sign was noted.
Apparently they tried to pay by sending a cheque for the amount but it was returned as by the time they received it the first ticket was over the grace period. When phoned and asked the parking company to question this they said it has been passed on to debt collectors this was only 3 weeks after the incident apparently. Asked why they didn't accept the money and re-invoice them for the deficit. They were told that it had already been sent to a debt collection this was only 3 weeks after said event.
Apparently an email was sent to the debt collector twice now who have apparently yet to reply to the person and today they apparently received a letter from a named solicitor.
Should a solicitor be contacted at this stage to deal with apparent situation as apparently payment was attempted and returned.
Thanks

Ignore debt collectors, but not the PPC.
Never, ever phone parking scammers or their agents.
