I'm sure they're fine most of the time but you know when a company does something that puts you off using them again...

When we went last year our youngest was just a few months old so of course we weren't expecting any kind of activities or care for her - just my eldest who was 4. We were mis-sold on this front.

It sounds like creches for a 2 year old do exist - i just need to seek them. The Firstchoice suggestion above looks good...

Yes absolutely - in the right environment. We'e perfectly happy to leave her now as a 14 month old one day a week at nursery. As long as the company has the right accreditation, training, security measures then why not? For a few hours here and there I don't see the issue whatsoever. Probably safer than sending her to our grandparents for the afternoon :rotfl:

UK nursery standard professional childcare comes at a price, if you want that in a hotel abroad then there will be an extra cost.

Fine by me. I would be almost worried if it was free...

I suspect that if there was an extra charge parents would balk at the additional cost on an "all inclusive" holiday and it wouldn't be viable for the hotel to offer such an optional facility.

TUI operate their own childrens' clubs in certain establishments, as opposed to the hotel run variety.

I believe thay are run by UK qualified staff and have a good reputation.

Based on your wish list it would be worth visiting a TUI shop and checking specifics. Their "Family Life" portfolio appears suitable ?

This is exactly what we did - we explained our requirements and they picked out the hotel above. For this reason I wouldn't trust TUI again...

The Sensatori Cala Tarida in Ibiza might be worth looking at, as they advertise bookable nursery places. It’s a very popular hotel with families and a nice short flight.
