I'm overreacting? Work colleague?

Surely it's an equal mix of both? After all, if you have a connection, shared interests, etc with a member of the opposite sex then surely they'd just be a friend? You said yourself that men and women can be friends so you clearly don't buy into the philosophy that this isn't possible.
It's the sexual attraction that makes the difference between a friend and a partner.
If you are talking rights and wrongs, I don't think there are any - attraction is different to all of us
I do think you have a point, but I do personally feel that *spark* that we feel, it isn't necessarily physical looks related.
Of course they can be friends M/F but to my mind that is because the *spark* isn't there = then they are friend zoned.
I do not think it is an either / or situation, I mean we are all completely different to what we find attractive...and what attracts me, make make other females run a mile.
For me, If I had the choice between David Beckham and Prof Brian Cox (for example) = I would chose Brian Cox.... cooooorrrrr. David Beckham is a typical model man by *some* standards but he makes me skin crawl and has the personality of a tin of beansThe opposite of what you know...is also true0 -
Wouldn't be surprised if he's already having an affair with this work colleague. They've been away together and he's smitten by her. Has he become more protective of his phone?0

Go with your gut instinct, a few years back my wife started mixing with a group from work then I found out the group was actually one man who was just a friend. We split and within days he was staying over according to my daughter.
I also agree men don’t generally become friends with good looking women for no reason either, there’s usually more to it. That’s not to say he’s having an affair but he obviously likes her company more than past work colleagues.0 -

Have you spoken to him about this yet?
Or arranged to go with him to a social do where she will also be so you can see how they interact?0 -
I would go along to one of these social events and see how they interact. Even if your husband likes her, it may be that she has completely friend-zoned him and is just using him as emotional therapy to offload about her own marriage. In which case, regardless of how your husband feels, you likely don't need to worry. I've known a few married women (and men) to do this. Sometimes they are well aware that the other person really likes them, but they are only interested in the free therapy and attention they get to boost their self esteem. Yeah, it's selfish, but a whole different issue to worrying about an affair. But go along and meet her directly and judge for yourself rather than worrying over 'what ifs'.Savings: £60,029.70 (+ I don't know how much BTC/ETH)
