Why is it so important to have good credit score then?

Credit score does not matter, credit history does.

Credit scores are fictional and as it won't be the CRA's lending you the money they mean nothing.

Each lender uses a different scorecard to assess risk, not the same logic that produces a random number. There are cases of 1 year brankupts that achieve a "score" of 999.
