There is a Sub forum for such referrals, please use that in order not to clog up the OP
Cheers. I had already done that when you posted.
Someone has not very helpfully moved that post to a thread about Vitality Health. The products are completely different and my post has no relevance on that thread.0 -
I take life insurance for piece of mind. Not to busy myself with steps, points and whatnot for a cinema ticket and a starbucks worth a tenner. While signing off my privacy to my insurer to top it off - hard pass
But to each their own I guess.0 -
I am sad to have to write a review that contradicts my earlier glowing review.....
I still feel the same with regards to the service received by Vitality which was really good, however this current unprecedented year I have been totally disappointed in them as a company!!
They have absolutely NO idea what their clients needs have been..this year when things have been so uncertain with deaths to the pandemic, job losses (with many more to come!)
What has their response been??
The company have provided us with coffee vouchers for Waitrose, exercise videos and such like!!!
What have companies like AXA and BUPA done for their clients
( This I can tell you for sure as my partner is with AXA and a member of my family with BUPA)
AXA have a two month holiday on their premiums for 2019 and thereafter a further two month holiday for 2020, if this alone was not brilliant they went on to waive the excess of £500 because of covid! ( proof of all I have) BUPA too came through for there clients on premium holidays.
When challenged about this Vitality offered my £250 a day if I caught Covid....🤦♀️
Vitality when our businesses have ceased trading for months and we are hanging on by the skin of our teeth, WE do not need your free coffee, exercise videos it comes done to one thing MONEY.
How come if AXA and BUPA could recognise this and assist their clients when they needed it most is Vitality so short sighted!!
Remember we clients have long memories and come renewal will most definitely go elsewhere as I have already after many years choosing vitality when premiums are cheaper elsewhere.
I think that’s called BRAND loyalty!!!

piggy_bank said:Hi all,
Thinking about getting life insurance with Vitality for OH and myself. Having compared several quotes, Vitality is slightly more expensive, but not by much, and I like the idea of the rewards and getting something back for the ~£40 per month that (hopefully) we will never actually use.
Does anyone have a policy with them, and can comment on the service and the rewards? OH both have fitbits and track 10,000+ steps per day, so it looks like we would be eligible for things like the cinema tickets, and cheaper gym memberships etc.
Thanks!
Vitality told me I would have to bring the premiums up to date (fair enough) but refused to tell me at that point if they would pay for my MRI, instead blaming me for the lapse. They way they operate is Sharp Practice.0 -
I changed from Bupa to Vitality in 2022 and wished I had not. I thought by doing so I would get a free Apple Watch only to find out you do not (first con). In year two having made no claims the monthly premiums escalated and I told them I would not renew. Instead I renegotiated a lesser monthly sum. I injured my arm in the summer but soldiered on but in December 24 I was told I require an MRI. I then discovered the person who should have administered it, did not, and the monthly premiums were not collected for 3 months unbeknown to me.
