Virgin - not impressed

We changed from Sky to a Virgin package in June. When we applied it was the last day of an offer of £150 cash back so we decided to have a more expensive package that included Sky Witness which DH watches a lot. The cash back hasn’t appeared and we have been into their shop a few times. This morning DH was told by the girl who dealt with him that she would need his agreement to prove the date of the sale. He came home, found the agreement and it is undated. I reminded him that when he went in the day after taking out the package to ask how the £150 would be paid the man in the shop told him that the girl hadn’t put the paperwork through, he would do it and we would get the cash back eventually. Well it’s not looking like it, there is no mention of it on our online account and it’s appearing that the paperwork might have been held back until after the deal.
He does have an email from Virgin thanking him for taking out the package so he does have that but it looks as if the staff in the shop are trying to avoid paying us the cash back and may insist on the agreement which is undated.
We are not impressed with the way they are handling this and we are also not impressed with the Broadband which we can only receive in half of the house, we can’t get it in the bedroom where the main computer. is located. They sent us a signal booster which doesn’t work and when looking online we find it is useless because it isn’t suited to houses where there is an electricity supply with a trip switch. We have had to buy our own signal booster.
Does anybody else have experience of these cash back deals and if so did you get your cash back without any hassle?

If you signed up to take a cash bash offer and they are not delivering it take them to court for breech of contract. The contract was made on the offer of £150 cash back.Someone please tell me what money is0

Wild666 the trouble is the cashback was date related, expiring the day after we signed up and the contract they gave us has no date on it. In addition to that the paperwork wasn’t processed the day we signed up but a day later, whether this was intentional we are not sure. It wouldn’t be wise to take this to court for a small amount without strong evidence. It’s not about the money, it’s the principle. So far we only have an email from Virgin as evidence of our contract and I’m not sure of the status of an email as evidence of a contract.0
