LISA release of funds - how quick?

My partner and I have a LISA each. We're in the process of buying a house, gave the solicitor the forms to request the money nearly two months ago. Just discovered that they've not given these forms to Skipton. We are due to exchange on Friday - if we can't, we have additional costs of approx £1k at least. If the forms go in tomorrow, what are the chances of it arriving in time? Just hoping for some supportive anecdotes of banks releasing ISA funds in really short periods of time..?

  • Ring Skipton!! They state that they need 30 days notice but we also had an issue with them. They emailed my husband something that they needed him to sign electronically but it ended up in his junk folder and got completely missed. It took several stressful conversations over a couple of days, but the funds did end up getting released in time.

We were with HL at the time but got some money released in 24 hours.
In fact we deposited all but £1 of £8000 and got £9000 back in less than 30 days.

We got the bulk of the money out before the first ever bonuses were paid and didn't think we would be able to withdraw the bonus for the house.
In the end the first bonus was paid earlier than we expected and before completion on 30th April last year. We asked HL on the offchance and they transferred it in time for completion. They were super helpful.
Now we only have the second £1000 sitting in the LISA until retirement.

Good luck on getting it out!
