Post up a picture of the ticket (personal information deleted) and photos of the signage.
You need to appeal on grounds more than I put the incorrect registration number but paid.0 -

The signage is all correct. I didn't receive a ticket - that's the crux. ANPR cameras correctly photo me coming in and out and not overstaying the hour. But I PUT £1.20 FOR AN HOUR IN THE MACHINE! Trouble is the machine was a ticketless one.
Without any proof of payment in the form of a receipt or - from their side - details of numberplates keyed into the machine - it's almost impossible to solve. But innocent until proven guilty, surely?
If there had not been newspaper stories about the same thing happening to many others in the same car park I might have assumed I made a mistake. But I didn't and I'm not the only one...
Thanks....0 -

How do you propose that the OP appeals again, when the PPC has already turned their appeal down, and the IAS is a kangaroo court?0 -

Hello. I decided to appeal to the IAS after receiving a fine after paying, but NOT receiving any form of proof of payment from the ticket machine. IE how do I prove I paid? It's their word against mine.
BUT when I go onto the IAS site it does not recognise my PCN number, despite the fact I'm within 21 days of my appeal being rejected by UK CPM. It tells me to contact the operator (IE UK CPM) but of course they have no contact number or email.
Anyone else found this and know how to get round it? I"m nervous of NOT appealing to the IAS and therefore being seen to 'do the right thing' despite all we know about the IAS.0 -
No-one has found it because no-one tries IAS. You will be even more nervous when you LOSE at IAS and then worry they'll use that against you in their court claim.
IAS will not stop the steamroller. Stop being nervous. IAS is NOT 'the right thing'.
STOP.
Come back at court stage where these cases are winnable.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
