The waiting room was crowded when I arrived at court and only one spare seat - fortunately it was right next to another VCS victim (same car park, different "liability") so we spent 10 minutes swapping notes, it began to feel like two children who don`t know each other sitting outside the Headmaster`s office. This helped us both relax and focus.


One thing this Defendant showed me made my eyes pop: VCS had sent this person a letter saying they had already OBTAINED a CCJ on the 21st of June 2019...but the letter was dated the 17th of June 2019, and of course, no CCJ in actuality had been obtained.

Thank you very much - It would have been much more daunting and stressful without your invaluable help and support.


I spoke to the defendant after they came out of the court and back into the waiting room after the Judge ruled in their favour in about 5 minutes. I asked them about costs, specifically if they`d claimed any; sadly they did not seem bothered about this aspect and were just "glad it was sorted."



I could easily have just kept quiet during my hearing after the Judge had dismissed my case but I was adament that I was going to be compensated for my wasted time, so speak I did...
