try a site called Tootle. You can haggle on the dealer offers. You may have to either put your big girl pants on and sell your car yourself or let WBAC screw you over.
You are not doing equality rights for women any favours.

Looks like I'll be driving it for a while longer then.

    Thanks everyone.

Look at it this way: motor dealers are in it to make a profit, so they will want to see something out of any deal. If you are happy to take a bit of a hit, I would suggest going into the Mazda dealer and looking at cars around the £10k mark. The dealer might see enough of a margin there to take you up on it. If not, ask them what they would consider.

There's nothing wrong in this. I've done it before myself. You are, in effect, paying to have a clean and hassle-free transaction (no advertising, no test drives, no time-wasting tyre-kickers, no worries about payment/tax/insurance/SORN etc). In my case, it was a chance to get rid of a total lemon (to the garage that had been doing the work on it, so no deception) and get a car I really wanted that they had in stock. It cost me £2-300, although this was a while ago.

There are plenty of Mazda 3s available on Autotrader from dealers 12k and down. plenty around the 11k mark. Take your car in and see what they offer following a test drive. There was a 16 plate in Bolton for 11.2k...
