I am now at the Directions questionnaire stage and have received a copy of such from BW Legal, it names [Removed By Forum Team] as contact but is signed in fake handwriting as BWlegal. I was wondering if there is any mileage in this as all their forms seem to be signed by a generic BWlegal signature.
Also in their DQ they have stated that the number of witnesses including themselves will be 0 (zero); again is their anything signicant to this? Are they expecting to have the case heard without attending?0 -
A statement of truth must be signed by an individual.
No. Theyu will send a rep along. THe rep is, of course, NOT a witness.0 -
I refer you to post # 5, point 7 in this very thread.0

Does anyone know how long it takes for the MCOL website to update.
I sent my DQ by post (with proof of posting) on 1st October and a copy to BWLegal.
The deadline was Monday 7th October. On Monday I could not see it recorded so sent a copy by email to CCBC before the 4pm deadline. It is still not showing on MCOL.0 -
There have been reports of a backlog at CCBC but not sure of the current position. I guess you could try phoning but I have read that you should prepare for a long wait.0

No reason to be concerned.0 -
I am putting together my defence documents to submit to the court and wondered what the latest advice and wording are for "Abuse of process". The case is scheduled for March 2020 at Exeter, and a deadline of this Thursday for submission of documents.0

You are right to ask, things have moved on apace. Fortunately, Coupon-mad has kept her original comment up-to-date. Just search the forum for beamerguy's Abuse of Process thread and look at the updated comment at post # 14 on that thread by Coupon-mad. Also check out a thread by CEC16.0

I have had a look at Beamerguys "Abuse of process" thread and want to include this in my defence.
Just wondering if it is best to include it in the body of the defence statement or as a supplementary witness statement. If the latter, can I submit at a later stage?0 -
If you read those threads you found, you will see that Coupon-mad advocates either approach, providing you have a paragraph in your defence, you can then expand upon it in your Witness Statement and evidence and even submit a supplemental evidence sheet.0
