BA/Tui flights

I know it's not an exact science but would I be right in thinking that flights would be cheapest when they're first released, or when BA have a sale? I'm looking for flights to Mexico, in premium economy/WTP in october 2020. Tui already have flights showing for the date but they're really expensive. Thanks for any advice.

It's going to be demand based, so there's no single answer.0

Last BA sale was early this year .

I think there cheaper when the sale comes. I remember reading somewhere on the points guy website they are usually not at the cheapest when initially released0

BA are refitting aircraft with more WTP seats. This should be complete soon. At off peak dates there could be some great fares.Posts are not advice and must not be relied upon.0

Thanks everyone, I'll do the Skyscanner thing and keep a look out for BA's sale. When we went in 2017 BA flights were much cheaper than TUI. I've just compared BA june flights with july and they're getting dearer, I'd have thought july was less popular for Mexico.0
