Garden tap - water not coming out

    Have you had some work done in the house that involves plumbing?


    Had a tap replaced about 4 months ago in the utility room toilet and this copper pipe feeds into that. Ie. the tap replaced is further on in the supply line.


    It's not the end of the world because I can always take water out in a watering can or a bucket. Already had quotes of £50 for coming out to check.

    This was a common fault when I used to repair washing machines for a living. As has already been said, it's the disc that has been cut out of the existing pipework folding back over the hole. Get it replaced with a proper t-piece, & you may as well replace the hose with proper pipe at the same time then it will be a permanent fix.
    Tall, dark & handsome. Well two out of three ain't bad.
