Yes -sent a message yesterday to E.O yesterday ,outlining the fact that they have not contacted me - the only "evidence" of the apology and revised bill is on the E.O site.

The E.O has been quite efficient - they have already contacted Together to "re-send" the letter of apology and revised bill by snail mail and have sent me the same via email. When I get the hard copies (!!) I'll attempt once again to get T.E to take my bank details for the repayment of credit:)

Well, no surprises here - a further two weeks has passed - and absolutely nothing from T.E.
Waste of time chasing now - I'll leave until the New Year.

I have received a message from the E.O. service (timed at 08:13 this morning !) telling me that my complaint has been upheld and that they are recommending that Together Energy should issue me with a proper bill for the period I was with them less a 'goodwill payment' of £100 (as compensation for their poor administration) and a written apology. This will leave me owing them approx £20 which I would be more than happy to pay them.

Apparently. I now have to wait and see if T.E. accept this decision or wish to appeal it although given that they have completely ignored the E.O. process I'm not holding my breath - I'll wait and see what happens next before paying them anything. Looking forward to my next phone call from their debt collection agency !

And three weeks later, the EO website is still waiting to hear from TE if they are willing to "implement that decision". Since that will only mean them sending me an invoice for somewhere between £10 & £20 which I'll be happy to pay rather than hoping I might accidentally pay the £120 o so that I'm continuing to ignore.

Still very disappointed that neither TE or their debt recovery agency have rung me lately :D

….a further month has passed and absolutely nada/zilch from T.E - no letter of apology, no revised bill and no sign of the credit they think I'm due!
Phoned once last week but gave up after 20 minutes on hold. Since I'm in "profit" it is tempting to walk away HOWEVER I have this uneasy feeling that if/when they go t*ts up , I'll be arguing with some random debt collector:(

    :j Well, well, well ! :j

Today is the very last day specified by the Ombudsman Service for T.E. to accept their decision or appeal it. Absolutely amazed to receive a phone call from them a few minutes ago and rather than the further demand for payment in full that I was expecting, the caller advised that T.E. had implemented the decision.

Note that I estimated that after implementation, I'd owe them about £20.

Even more amazed when he went on to announce that they now owed me money (though he didn't say how much) ! I didn't like to upset him with further calculations :D

He then asked if I wanted them to make a direct payment into my account or send me a cheque. Since I know they haven't already got my bank details (or even if they 'inherited' them they don't have a DD mandate which most companies seem to think is required to make a payment) I certainly wasn't going to reveal them so have asked for a cheque. He suggested that would cause a delay of up to ten days (but I'll be astonished if I get it before Easter). Watch this space !

As I've previously posted, their "resolution specialist" produced an apology/amended final bill in November. As per you, she decided they owed me money :rotfl:
Gave someone at TE my bank details end of November, and as I hadn't heard anything , repeated the process in mid December -but neither agent gave me much confidence that the details would be used - no offer of a cheque in the apology or the two phone calls...…………..and no surprise ,no refund received in the Bank up to today's date!
I've given up now altho' I've got all bills etc stored and backed up in case they recalculate my bill again and hand it over to debt collection.
Some of the stories coming to light on a customer FB page are far worse than anything I've read on here!!

Eeh ! It's like busses - you wait all day (or three months in this case) for one to come along then another follows immediately.

Just had another call from T.E. ! Caller wanted to "discuss my balance" then demanded the first line of my address "for security". No idea what security that might have given her (or why the earlier chap hadn't needed it) but I interrupted the process to point out that one of her colleagues had already dealt with the matter.

No doubt I can look forward to a string of similar calls :D

And it gets better !   Following day I got a letter from them enclosing my 'final' bill.  Alas,  that didn't quite agree with the very clearly set out calculation E.O had provided,  nor did it include the apology E.O. had ruled I should get.  Was just about to email them pointing out the lack of apology when one arrived next day so I settled for quoting the EO calculation (25p less than their figure) and offering them that sum in full and final settlement.  I also had to point out that unlike any other electricity providers,  their bill didn't include their bank details.

Not had a reply yet (ask again after Easter :D )  but fully expecting they'll ask me to set up a direct debit so they cant take it.  Could be a blue moon before that happens  >:)
