Together Energy Scam Calls

I was a OneSelect customer. Had a series of emails from Together when OS folded and responded to all of them advising that I wanted them to expedite my transfer to Bulb; all were ignored - indeed it took three weeks longer than Bulb forecast for the transfer to happen.
Together continued to ignore me till August when out of the blue a debt recovery agency got in touch. On telling them that I'd never had a final account they promised to send me one which took a month to arrive and then it was quite obviously inaccurate.
Shortly after that I received a letter from Together addressed to me by name and with the correct postcode but rest of address lines read "null" ! That 'threatened' me that if I didn't pay the sum demanded they would refer my account to a debt collection agency (yes, two months after they'd already done so !). I replied to that by email reminding them of the history and asked for a failure to agree letter so that I could refer the matter to the Ombudsman. A couple of weeks later I received a phone call from them asking me (again !) to pay them. During that call I pointed out one of the errors in the bill and again asked for a deadlock letter. I eventually received a deadlock letter and have referred them to the Ombudsman suggesting that a compensation payment for sloppy admin seemed justified. That was a month ago and Ombudsman is still awaiting their response. Meanwhile I've received a 'corrected' final account and had two more phone calls from them - the first pressing me for payment and I was out when second call was made yesterday.NE Derbyshire.4kWp S Facing 17.5deg slope (dormer roof).24kWh of Pylontech batteries with Lux controller BEV : Hyundai Ioniq50 -
Long story short -I finally went to the Ombudsman over the incorrect One Select bill that Together had presented me with.
To my surprise T.E reviewed my Ombudsman complaint and offered me a satisfactory proposed resolution on 21/10 HOWEVER nothing has happened yet and the remedy should be sorted by Monday 18/11.
I can see another complaint to the Ombudsman coming next week:mad:0 -
According to the Energy Ombudsman webpage, TogetherEnergy have responded to my complaint and I need to comment on their response by Fri 22nd November. However, there is no sign of their response on the evidence page so I've just rung the Energy Ombudsman helpline.
The chap there confirmed that there has been no response from them so I asked him to log my lack of surprise on hearing that and treat it as extra evidence of their lack of response to customer communications.
EO advice was to sit back and do nothing until I hear from them (EO) again. Afraid my chap confirmed that it isn't actually an abuse of process for T-E to keep ringing me but agreed with me that I shouldn't be pressured into paying them anything whilst EO case is in progress.NE Derbyshire.4kWp S Facing 17.5deg slope (dormer roof).24kWh of Pylontech batteries with Lux controller BEV : Hyundai Ioniq50 -

Well, as suspected, I've had an email from Energy Ombudsman today- marked "case resolved" - they say that Together Energy have told them that the offered/accepted resolutions are all complete -only problem is that I have heard ABSOLUTELY NOTHING from T.E since 21/10 ! I've got to give it until 3rd Dec. before I can go back to E.O to say that nowt has happened.
T.E are not getting any better:mad:0 -
Well, Together Energy have reached a new low point in their incompetence!!
After a conversation with Energy Ombudsman re no contact from T.E ,I was informed that evidence had been submitted by T.E which I could view on the Ombudsman's site. Consisted of the "apology" letter and a revised final bill.
They had rejected my claim that the One Select final credit was wrong because altho they produced the OS final account , they have no powers to alter it or issue amended statements and are not responsible for OS failings !!
HOWEVER, they have altered my final Together Energy account by the use of a mythical final reading which they claim has come thru from the ARD procedure from the new supplier - it is actually 1008 kwh LESS than used to open my Yorkshire Energy account:rotfl:Any bets that the real difference from the ARD process ,was 8 kwh?
As a result of all this ,AND my £50 compensation award, they think they owe me ~ £54:)
Not sure what to do now - I suspect that they are in such a mess that they will never work out where they have gone wrong - shall I phone them to get my mythical credit repaid??0 -

Answer to my own Q - DON'T bother phoning them! Got thru 4 times in 2 days - cut off twice, transferred to totally the wrong dept. once and the final indignity, some message that "THEY HAD PHONED ME AND WOULD TRY AGAIN LATER!!!" Some chance with that bunch of t***ers:mad:
I'm not wasting more time/money on the phone - I'll try a letter headed COMPLAINT ,I think -altho' it never worked last time!:(0 -
Luckily for me (IF you can class any contact with TE as 'lucky' !) I know that I owe them rather than them owing me so am quite happy for them to continue their procrastination till Hell freezes over.brewerdave wrote: »Answer to my own Q - DON'T bother phoning them! Have you tried asking the Ombudsman's advice on what to do next ?brewerdave wrote: »I'm not wasting more time/money on the phone - I'll try a letter headed COMPLAINT ,I think -altho' it never worked last time!:(NE Derbyshire.4kWp S Facing 17.5deg slope (dormer roof).24kWh of Pylontech batteries with Lux controller BEV : Hyundai Ioniq50 -

Yes -sent a message yesterday to E.O yesterday ,outlining the fact that they have not contacted me - the only "evidence" of the apology and revised bill is on the E.O site.
EDIT - Managed to find log in credentials for Together - there are now 3 bills showing - the latest dated one actually shows the mythical credit of £53.76!!0 -
fyi....... i managed to get things sorted by directly contacting staff ( senior ) of together energy via linked in..... only thing that worked for me0
