The driving position and ergonomics of the car also make a massive difference.

The only way to be sure really is to test-drive.

it puts you in the top (you see what I did there) 0.9% for UK height (assuming, from your user name, you're a bloke).

Parent isn't tall but is long bodied and also has head space issues in some cars.

A sun roof will always take up about 2" of headroom as the mechanism has to live somewhere.
