Getting attention of EE retentions

Does anyone know a way to get hold of EE retentions?
I would like to join ee and was about to take out a 30 day sim only contract and then call up retentions. It looks like they dont do 30 day contracts now though, so would getting a payg sim and then trying to port out work? Other ideas welcome!
Ideally would like them to match an id mobile contract 4gb for £8 etc....

You're unlikely to be able to talk to retentions without already being a customer and being put through to them by a rep when asking for a PAC. (I'm curious how it works with the new system of PAC request by SMS - maybe they call you..?)
You could try it with a PAYG SIM service, perhaps someone has experience...Evolution, not revolution0 -

Must it specifically be EE or would a piggyback on EE network suffice? Like Plusnet, or Asda to name but two optionsEight out of ten owners who expressed a preference said their cats preferred other peoples gardens0

Well, they've been giving me one every year, no sweat...
Except you're not a new customer and you're not on 4GB (which the OP mentioned) so not much use to them.Yes very expensive for payg compared with other networks.
That price quoted is for a 30 day rolling monthly contract.Wow, prices pretty steep compared to 12 month contract, £18 instead of £11 for the cheapest (which I'm on for £4 with 500MB, ID Mobile equ.).
Really?
I'm on 2GB, UL minutes & UL texts for £4.500
