I received the same email - automatically thought scam - little digging to see it was genuine - have now updated my password.
Also received same email but left Sky few years ago. Have account with NOW tv for broadband, which I realise is Sky, but no problem signing in with original password using their app.0 -
I never click on the link or ring the number in the email.
If I have a doubt, open a new window, type in web address myself and log in and view whatever I need to that way - 99% it's a scam.
1) The number is a genuine number.
2) The email refers to the sky.com website.
If you use the genuine website and/or phone number then you will have no problems. Of course, don't click on any links, as these can redirect you to a fake website, but if you use the genuine URL you will be OK.Retired at age 56 after having "light bulb moment" due to reading MSE and its forums. Have been converted to the "budget to zero" concept and use YNAB for all monthly budgeting and long term goals.0
