Hi guys,,sadly I am still unwell, bit have been boosted by a piece on local radio I happened to hear yesterday, they did not mention the really lovely company that we all know as “ excel parking”by name, but the bad news another ppc has arrived,, care parking,, However what boosted me was you now pay on EXIT, new machines have been introduced and you can park free after 5pm and all day Sunday is free,,maybe shoppers may start now returning to the centre. ,Incredibly a couple of weeks ago these new machines “ malfunctioned” and everyone got a pcn, care parking say everyone will either be refunded or the pcn cancelled! So wonder where mr renshaw- Smith is now plying his trade to unsuspecting car parks,,, if this has already been posted I apologize, but if all goes well, looks like I am out of a job then?,,,can move 100 yards away to aldi and fight the fight with parking eye maybe, keep up the good work guys.

Hi m8 , great to hear from you and no I did not know about this great news which has been a long time coming because I and many others wont go near the place meaning those shops have lost out big time
from what you say the parking seems to be how it should be , or free anyway, all the time , for say 4 hours at least if I had my way , so more like Crown Point North and PE for example
sorry to hear about your troubles, but I hope it improves for you in the future
good luck and thanks for this valuable info0 -
Hope you feel better soon, bondy lad. Thanks for that nugget of info! :TPRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Nice news you've relayed to us bondy lad.
Excel must have cost businesses there a massive amount for this wholesale new approach to be introduced for managing the car park at The Peel Centre. Hopefully we'll have a bit of a quieter life if this place is much less in the PCN limelight, especially with the introduction of pay on exit.
Hope you're on the mend soon. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

Maybe this is why they are resurrecting their VCS, 2015 toxic claims. Revenue must be falling.

Could SRS be preparing for the inevitable when the new CoP kicks in ?0 -

T&Cs look like a modern day version of War and Peace, with eye-wateringly minuscule print, that no one could take in without the risk of severe migraine.
But the overall system seems infinitely better than the previous Excel money grab. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I agree, I couldnt believe all that blurb on the right hand side, even the CARE PARKING bit is near the bottom and miniscule, so much so I was at a loss to decide who the contract was actually with !!
and reading the BLUE BADGE part, it doesnt state that the daily tariff is payable by BB holders, nor the opposite statement that parking is free for BB holders, meaning a BB holder could easily assume the rules in their blue booklet apply and its up to 3 hours free parking0 -
How are people supposed to know how long they stayed unless the machine displays their arrival time when they put in their VRN?
Is the Stockport Retail Park the same place as the Peel Centre?PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
