What I don’t understand is why I have even received this PCN notification for a car I have never owned, driven or the fact I live some 70 miles from where the parking offense is supposed to have taken place!!!!!!

Email a SAR to the DPO at the PPC that issued the PCN and get all the documents and pictures and data that they issued to you and your supposed vehicle at the time of this event, even though you say it's not you or your vehicle

Is make them prove it by insisting on seeing the proof

Thanks for your advice. What would you recommend re the directions questionnaire? This has to be returned by 19th July.
I have just sent off the request to VCS

Are you saying you 'searched' the NEWBIES thread but couldn't find stuff about what to do when, with a court case, despite the heading in red in the second post there in the sticky thread 'IMPORTANT - KNOW WHAT TO DO WHEN'?

You need to stop using a phone if that was the problem, get on a laptop, sit down with your preferred beverage and read the second post of the NEWBIES thread, including the link to bargepole's post. He tells you exactly how to fill in the DQ.
