Lets hope not (in that it does not cause it to go more 'funny') , mind you on a positive note a bit of a downpour next week with the apparently hot weather we are due is not a bad thing I suppose. Not fan of heat myself but each to their own.
Back to the main concern:Hopefully they will. I would say if (lets hope not) they do not contact you then I'd suggest re-contacting them again the following morning if possible.
AndyCF, I agree about the weather. I'm not a fan of heat either! Rain will be good news in my book:rotfl:
I guess we'll see what today brings. Hopefully I won't need to go chasing them.0 -
Well, spark didn't ring yesterday. Got an email to say they were trying to book repair but need to confirm it. Apparently they'll ring this morning.....there's still 20 minutes of this morning left right?:p0

That might depend on whether your broken meter is not working in GMT or not working in BST!!0 -
We have blank meter since january.i told for my landlord straight away to call te supplier.nothing happened.i think she forget.we were waiting and we forget it.begin of november we realised we have blank screen meter and i told her again.now she called the supplier.we have appointment by an engineer to check out the problem.how we can pay back the consumed electricity?0

Xulua, your supplier will guess how much you have used and if you agree, pay it, if you don't agree, then find a figure you can agree with.
Bottom line is, your supplier does not know how much you have used and cannot accurately bill you for this period.0 -
Xulua, if you are paying the energy company directly then why are you not reporting the problem to them directly?0
-
It is a prepayment.it works with key.i did not know how to report and for who exactly.i just told her to report it and sort it.0

Your pre-payment meter is costing you a lot more. If you're planning to stay there for a reasonable time, it would be worth considering switching to a credit meter.
