Anyone used Three or Plusnet Mobile data in Sicily?

I'm looking for a mobile data solution for a trip to Sicily (Siracusa), and was wondering if anyone had any experience of data roaming with Three or Plusnet Mobile? If so, was the network reliable, and fast enough for video streaming?

    I’ve not been to Sicily, but have roamed in other EU countries with Three. The data rates can be very variable as you are operating as a guest of another network and may not receive as good a data rate as at home. This is especially an issue in holiday hotspots where bored tourists are watching YouTube when it’s raining!

    Having said that, I’ve found the data rate on Three quite usable for web browsing and voice via Skype. It’s better than most hotel and bar WiFi.
