MSE blagged Virgin Media deal issue

Hi all,
New to the forum but financially savvy and hope to add something to the community!
I joined Virgin with the offer featured in the MSE e-mail several weeks ago.
1 year of M100 fibre broadband at £25 (before it reverts to £42), £0 activation fee and £75 bill credit.
I have just received my first bill for 2 x £42. I called them to ask politely for the adjustment but they insisted that the offer did not exist. I have my order summary with confirmation of the offer but they refused to give me anywhere to send it to. The service was appalling. As it stands they will bill me the extra money in a couple of weeks (they charge 2 months in the first bill so the total is £84, minus the £75 credit and they want to charge me £9 this month and £42 onwards.
Has anybody else had this issue and how did you sort it?
Thanks!

Thanks Gary - that will be my next step. I've e-mailed their CEO. That has actually got surprising results before if the CEO is a customer service sort of person.
I'm keen to get this sorted without having to wait out the 28 day period between complaints and resolution if possible.0
