Thanks le_kirk
I'll give it a go :-)0 -
you should all so complain to the manager and the CEO
it might be better (for this line of action) for you wife to complain one and you the other?
do you have receipts for the said days?
are you regular customers?

It's tough trying to find contact details for any management or the CEO. I only have an email address for customer services.
I was shopping in Waitrose that day and I do have an online record of that. We shop there fairly frequently, not monthly shops, but we do spend money there.
Looking at the one size fits all template, it does seem to be tailored more for the PPC. My intention is to send them pics of there poor signage.0 -
Complain to Waitrose Head Office - the CEO, like this person did:

As you say, it is designed to be sent to the PPC.0 -
Dispute email sent. See what happens.
Thanks for all the input; hope I get a positive result.

Happy days.
Just received news from Waitrose that both PCNs have been cancelled.
If you would like me to post what I wrote and to whom, I would be happy to do so.
Thanks to all for your input and good advice.

Just enter Waitrose plus CEO into google, how tough is that?
Nine times out of ten these tickets are scams so complain to your MP.
Parliament is well aware of the MO of these private parking companies, and on 15th March 2019 a Bill was enacted to curb the excesses of these shysters. Codes of Practice are being drawn up, an independent appeals service will be set up, and access to the DVLA's date base more rigorously policed, persistent offenders denied access to the DVLA database and unable to operate.
Hopefully life will become impossible for the worst of these scammers, but until this is done you should still complain to your MP, citing the new legislation.

Just as the clampers were finally closed down, so hopefully will many of these Private Parking Companies. You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0 -

Yes please, or you could post a link to this thread in 'Successful Complaints about PPCs' a thread I started and keep up to date over the years, to show people that this tactic has huge success and also p'ees off the PPCS and tarnishes their name to their clients (all good, then).
That thread is linked early on, in the NEWBIES and it's always good if people reply on it and tell others who to contact and what to say, what worked for them.
Well done! :TPRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
