I reckon it because of this competition http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=572041&highlight=win+a+conservatory ever since I entered it i get a phone call almost every day but it was only today that they said I'd been selected to win free windows...I would think what they are doing is highly illegal:rolleyes:

A quick update.We have sent the cancellation form off as I said before and know they got it as I sent it by next day delivery just to make sure.
We have tried a few times to talk to someone but just get passed from pillar to post and then cut off so we don,t actually know that the contract is definately cancelled yet.
We are having difficulty getting anyone at Weatherseal on the phone willing to speak to us about it ,theres a surprise!
I e-mailed out local newspaper and they are also taking an interest in our story but no-one from weatherseal will speak to them either.
We had had no more phone calls from weatherseal regarding a survey date or fitting so I assume they are just going to leave it.Must keep trying to get a concrete conclusion to this fiasco,I don,t think it is really safe for us to assume they have cancelled without any written confirmation from weatherseal themselves.
I am glad that this post has perhaps averted the same scam affecting others.Hopefully now whenever anyone else is searching the web to check up on Weatherseal they will find this.When I was searching I found nothing bad about them at all so posting this unfortunate incident will balance things.

With some luck, this should now have died a death for you.

We are now getting loads of phone calls from Weatherseal.So annoying!!!7 calls in the last 3 days,just aparantly random calls from the national salesteam re a promo in my area.Yes I know all about their great promo and have told them we have contacted trading standards re trouble with weatherseal in the past and please take us off the list of phone numbers straight away.Each lady promises to remove our number but the calls continue.Its beginning to feel like they are harassing us on purpose!!!

Shall we all contact Watchdog? I'm getting about 3 calls a day after entering one of their comps (all pushy and rude people) despite opting out of further contact. They say they're not in breach as they are 'confirming what works we would like done in the event of being the lucky winners'. What a load of BS.
