Hi,

I opened up an Ee mobile contract account over a month ago and ported my number over to them.

Today I received a letter saying my some of my plan charges are going up from August and I can leave without early termination charge

The mobile was bought from another retailer. Wondering if they terminate the contract what would happen to the mobile phone?

Also I can request porting code from them to transfer my number to another network?

Who owns the mobile???

Normally if contract to be terminated early network provider will charge a fee and that will cover the handset cost. If they waving the fee then I should not return the handset to Ee. it was not bought ftom from. The retailer I am not sure if they will ask for it back.

I am just trying to find out what happens in these circumstances. I may not end the contract I will be more than happy if they reduce the line rental.
