EE Business and BT mis-selling

Hi
Has anyone else been at the receiving end of EE business selling on BT business broadband for home?
I have and it has gone badly (it is BT after all). Because I am the contact on the EE mobile contract at work, I got a call to say I could get a great deal on braodband at home now that EE and BT are merged - they offered faster and cheeper broadband at home.
Problem is - despite assurances by both domestic and business services at BT - all our other services and deals were removed.
The solution (finally) from BT is to move my home account back to domestic - but they want me to start a whole new 18 month contract. So they win out of this mess ......
My response is that I won't do that - more phne calls tomorrow to try and find a way forward.
Interested if anyone else has been scammed in this way?
Thanks!
