clicking next page fault

hi, when i click on next page button,

say if theres 3 pages and im on 1 or 2.



it will load up double the amount of pages (eg it'll show theres 6 pages). and simply load up the same page i just viewed.


tried all the usual stuff, cleared caches etc. still persists.



also my posts have a lot of white space in them, even though when writing them theres only one blank line between them as i see it in the editor.

I don't seem to experience any problems going from page1 -> page 2 -> page 3, etc

looking at that page eg,



it has 23 pages, when i click next page, it goes to 46 like a glitch.



it also sometimes (when clicking the next page button). it simply loads the same page again.



also i write with no more than 1 blank line between sentances, but it seems to insert a lot more randomly. and makes my posts look huge! i have seen this on others posts too.
