Evening everyone, does anyone have any knowledge of this company, "Capital income solutions"
I spoke with a guy from Financiable who recommend local IFA's & they put me in touch with this company. I was just wondering if anyone has had any dealings with them. Thanks

Scroll down to Permission - Requirements
I'd at minimum first check what/why that's about.Requirements are rules placed on the firm that apply to all of the financial services activities that it can operate.
Cease Pension Transfer Advice
Effective from 25 June 2019, the Firm must immediately cease:
1) advising on conversion or transfer of pension benefits; and
2) completing pipeline business in relation to the conversion or transfer of pension benefits; and
3) providing any confirmation that independent advice has been provided for the purposes of section 48 of the Pension Schemes Act 2015.
Asset Retention
Effective from 27 June 2019, the Firm must not in any way:
1) dispose of, deal with or diminish the value of any of its assets (whether in the United Kingdom or elsewhere); and/or
2) dispose of, transfer or sell in whole or in part its client base without the prior written consent of the FCA0 -
Thanks jsinc, back to square one I guess, christ on a bike, I just want some advice from someone I can trust, surely Finaciable (the origin of my initial contact) must check the company's they are recommending. Forgive my ignorance but the above tells me they have / are being a bit naughty.0

I honestly have no idea. Could be something or nothing, but worth clarifying. Thanks jsinc, back to square one I guess, christ on a bike, I just want some advice from someone I can trust, surely Finaciable (the origin of my initial contact) must check the company's they are recommending. IFAs - I haven't heard of Financiable. Adviser Book and PFS Directory were recommended to me here in the past, because they don't take a cut so more likely to offer better value and better value firms (unlike vouchedfor and unbiased):

I didn't progress with either and don't know if that's still the case so obviously dyor, or maybe someone here can correct me. Just make sure they're Independent Financial Advisers.0 -
Yeah, sorry. Financiable, Thanks for the replies everyone.0

Unless I am mistaken, that appears to be a lead generation site rather than a directory of advisers. So, on what mickptr said about checking them out first, that would explain why they didn't.
Effectively, the site harvests data from people who are looking for an adviser and then sells that lead to advisers that are [STRIKE]desperate[/STRIKE] looking for clients.0 -
Much appreciated for your time everyone, i thought I'd be given a list of ifa's in my area or at least one, I live in Washington Tyne & Wear. Financiable say "we'll put you in touch with a LOCAL ifa" & they put me in touch with Capital Income Solutions & they are based in Leeds & not independent it would seem. :-o so annoyed.0
