Ryanair automatically increasing fare during booking process

I am wondering if anyone else has experienced the following problem?
I booked a Ryanair flight on 4/7/19 and noticed that the initial fare had increased when it was added to the basket. This has never happened before and I have booked hundreds of flights with Ryanair.
To satisfy my curiosity I decided to go through the booking process again and to my amazement it happened again. This time I didn't continue with the booking. I took screenshots of the pages showing the 2 prices and how they had changed automatically during the same booking. I did not add anything different to the booking ie seats etc. The price just jumped up by itself!
I contacted Ryanairs customer service and they as usual have denied it's anything to do with them.
I would be interested if anyone else has gone through this recently. I just think it's yet another sneaky Ryanair trick of extorting money from its customers and I bet I'm not wrong!

How many seats were you booking for? It may have been they had 1 or 2 left at the lower price, but because you wanted more it's charged at the higher price.

Did the seat/baggage push it up more than you thought?

I was booking just 1 ticket. Random seat. No baggage. I have never seen it do this before. It's as though there was some glitch on their booking system but I am the one to suffer. It would be nice to get to the bottom of this mystery!

How much did it increase by?
At what point did the price change? Was it at the payment page?
Can you give us specifics (route, date, flight, cost) so perhaps someone can try and replicate the issue and give a view?

Complain to https://www.asa.org.uk/ on the basis of false price advertising.

I was booking a flight from Riga to Leeds. It was initially priced at 55.22 euros but then increased automatically to 59.30 euros as it was added to the basket and not at the payment page. I would attach the screenshots but I see we can't.
