  • we got a reall ygood one from ikea for £69 its brilliant, when my parents come to stay my dad always sleeps on that bed.
  • Thanks everyone for the posts, they are all very helpful. It is mainly for my nephew to sleep on when he stays over and although I want it to be cheap, I also kind of want it to be comfortable and not to do his little bones any harm. Have been thinking that possibly the ikea one sounds good, also heard from someone who has one and they love it too!!

    Thanks for your help x

Whichever one you go for, investing a little extra in a mattress topper would, in my humble opinion, transform the sleeping experience of the poor sod that has to use it. I find them very good indeed.

It is far better to put that little extra towards a higher standard mattress, rather than trying to use a topper that wasn't designed to go with the mattress, in order to try and improve a poor quality mattress.

If you find the right seller, then a small increase in price can get you a far better standard of mattress.
