Hello,
I am looking for a basic, cheap single mattress for a spare bed. Have looked on various sites and they all seem pretty expensive. Does anyone have any idea where I might find a bargain?
Thanks

You could always buy an Aerobed Single from Argos at £53.99. Reduced by £6 just now.

I need to get a new mattress for my son and at the moment, a good quality one, backcare etc is around £175 including local delivery. Hoping to get same but cheaper in the sales.“Ordinary riches can be stolen, real riches cannot. In your soul are infinitely precious things that cannot be taken from you.” - Oscar Wilde0 -
Thanks everyone for the help, it's much appreciated. Will have a wee look on these websites.0

Did you mean to say 'not very cheap'?
Because if you find a mattress that is cheap, but claims to be memory foam, then the chances are that it isn't.
If in doubt then send me the link, and I will give you my honest opinion.0 -

Now I will probably get slated for this because I sell beds, but this is my own personal view:
I have actually slept (or tried to) on a cheap focus mattress, and in the end I slept on the floor instead.
There is budget, and there is cheap and nasty.0 -

They may do different models. I was in Focus a few weeks ago, and I felt one that I wouldn't let my dog sleep on. But they may sell better ones.0
