ATM Fees in Czech Republic

Options
Was back in the Czech Republic last week having been there roughly once a year for last five or six. Noticed the ATMs of several leading banks (including Česk! spořitelna) even on ATMs attached to their own branches in city centres are charging CZK125 (£4.40 approx) withdrawal fee including anything else on top your own bank might do. Annoying when you are using a UK bank card which charges no foreign transaction fees and you select the 'decline conversion' mark up.

Some smaller banks/ATMs in station ticket halls etc. don't (yet) appear to be charging. Anyone aware of what banks charge this so and whether there is any given reason?

Anecdotal evidence from foreign travellers hereabouts indicate that more and more ATMs are adding their own surcharge.

Mostly based on experiences in popular destinations like Spain and the Canaries etc.

As for why - just another way to increase their revenues.
