    If you're on E7 electricity, you should have loads of hot water first thing in the morning without boosting it , if you haven't the E7 element may have failed

    As you have just moved into this property is it likely that the water heater will have been switched off.

    You have found the Electrisaver E30 boost switch but you should not normally be needing to use that switch. This boost switch would only be used when the hot water heated during the night has been used.

    There will be another switch that you need to locate (maybe in the kitchen) and turn on so that the hot water tank is heated automatically every night, giving you a tank full of hot water using cheap rate Economy 7 electricity.

    Using the boost switch will be expensive so don't use it!
