So i am wanting to leave my ee contract and go to another network, but want to keep my number.

I got a PAC, along with how much it'll cost to leave slightly early

Am i right in thinking i only need a PAC, and not a STAC?

    The difference is

    1) A PAC to cancel your contract with your current network and bring your mobile number with you to your new provider;

    2) A STAC to cancel your contract with your current network and get a new mobile number from your new network provider.

    So yes only a PAC is needed if you wish to change and keep your number. Or else use only a STAC and get a new number.
