Pension Credit: Have Not Got A Response

I live with my parents and my dad gets Pension Credit.

Last month I wrote a letter to the Pension Credit people, on my dad's behalf, to report a change of circumstance (which is that I've stopped getting Universal Credit, a job search benefit).

The Pension Credit people still haven't responded.

Does it usually take this long for them to acknowledge the change or do they not send response letters at all?

Thanks.

The benefits you're claiming have nothing to do with what you're parents claim. This was advised in your previous thread here.

There's no need for your father to contact anyone about your income.

    Thank you for your response.

I did read your suggestion when I created that thread, but when I went to their gov website to check it said I needed to report a change if "benefits that anyone living in your home gets - including getting a new benefit or a benefit being stopped."

    I'll give a reference:

You also need to report if your income or expenses change. This can include changes to:

    - housing costs, for example ground rent or service charges
    - benefits that anyone living in your home gets - including getting a new benefit or a benefit being stopped
    - occupational or personal pensions - including if you start to get a new pension or take a lump sum out of your pension pot
    - other income, for example foreign pensions or Working Tax Credits
    savings, investments or property

Maybe that point doesn't really apply to me, or it's wrong, or worded incorrectly?

Can I ask if you could clarify this, please?

    Thanks.

I'm not sure what more clarification you want. The benefits you claim don't affect your parents benefits. The situation above doesn't apply to you.
