Your budget of £150 is tight for a brand new one. Your option is a second hand one, which you should be able to pick up for around £100. I would opt from buying from a reputable used washing machine shop, as they can deliver. Washing machines generally weigh 70kg, so it is n't something you can pick up on your own from an eBay seller, unless you have a van, trolley and someone to help.... Let the experts do it.0

Yes, they are bloody heavy !
I ruptured a bicep trying to move one, if you need to slide it into place, a little washing up liquid under each foot works wonders.0 -

Sorry but with a budget of £150 for a new machine, you are likely to end up with a cheap machine which you will probably regret buying. Your best bet is to buy a second hand machine for that price bracket.
Not too long ago, you might have got a reasonable machine for £150. But these days, things are made rather poorly and as cheaply as possible - especially the cheaper end machines.
One last suggestion to throw into the mix. Try and see if you have an Argos clearance shop nearby. You can buy very reasonable machines for a fraction of what they would normally cost.0 -

You have to look carefully though, some looked like they had literally fallen off a lorry and then run over by a tankEight out of ten owners who expressed a preference said their cats preferred other peoples gardens0 -
I too think your budget is too low to get a decent washing machine you will need to double it at least, buy cheap buy twice."Imagination is more Important than knowledge"0

They do exist at just above that price point brand new, though to match it exactly you may need to wait for providers to launch deals (or maybe find end-of-line/clearance stock).0 -
I got a White Knight w/m delivered direct from the manufacturer for £160 in the Black Friday sales. It is well-made and from experience their products endure well. Good to be able to buy British, too.0
