Hi,

Wondering if someone would be kind enough to confirm for me if the Samsung S10 sold by O2 on a monthly contract is the dual sim version?

I rang to ask and got passed around different departments, no one seeming quite sure, last guy said no, but he seemed more interested in sharing a joke with his colleagues and was just trying to end the call.

My local O2 store is closed today so cant check there either.

Thanks

No network will give you a dual SIM handset on their contract.

Well I'm surprised, if it was a brand new phone, perhaps there's no single SIM version of that model. Sorry then, I don't know what their S10 would be, but usually dual SIM is mentioned in the phone specs.

Yes, Oneplus seem to be the exception to this rule because they do not produce any single SIM phones.

Just an update after visiting the local store today.

Apparently according to the staff member that have had both, and would just actually need to check the phone itself. So the website says dual sim, support says single sim, store says both.

    Glad thats that cleared up!

OnePlus is very much an exception to that cause. I think part of their deals with the networks is that their phones still have to be unlocked.

That isn’t true, Oneplus has already been mentioned, Three has also sold (and still sells) dual sim Huawei and Honor phones.

EE are apparently selling the Galaxy S10 dual sim model as well.

  • The O2 S10 is a hybrid phone , so you can use it as dual sim or single sim and a slot for a memory card. Hth

If you check on the Samsung UK website, all the S10 range are hybrid meaning you can have 1 SIM and SD or 2 SIMs.
