Tried to search forum for for similar issues but looks like all of the previous threads are regarding short period overstay.
Long story short two weeks ago on the way back from the gym pop in to Morrisons as I parked wife rang me.
She was at a&e with our little one who fell bang his head and broke nose. Pay for my meal deal left the car and run to the hospital which is round the the corner.
Picked up the car 5 hrs later. Just received the NTK 85£ fine from euro car parks. Grace period does not apply does it. Please help if you can

What did Morrisons say when you pointed out your problem?
Ideally you would've pointed out the issue at the time of collecting the car, but it's still not too late to seek their help.0 -
Contact the Ms manager (not customer services) and explain the facts. If you have the receipt for that day (or bank/cc statement) to prove you were a genuine customer, also if you have back copies of proof of regular custom and/or a Ms loyalty 'More' card show those too.
Explain that these were extenuating circumstances in a very difficult, traumatic situation. Confirm that you are not a serial abuser of the car park and you hope that his intervention on your behalf will see you remain a loyal Ms customer. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Whilst you are attempting to get the store to cancel it don't lose sight of any appeal timescales.
If the store are slow, or refuse, send the one size fits all template from the Newbies thread.0 -
When this happens an people know they overstayed ALWAYS ALWAYS cover your numberplate (checking which one the exit camera points at).
You do not have to hand over your data to scum parking firms, so don't let them see your VRN on leaving.
If you search the forum for Morrisons you will find they always cancel ParkingEye ones when people complain to the 'DO not Reply' email shown on those threads.
However as this is ECP, I suspect it's not Morrisons car park only?PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
