Hi Pickles, I am not a legal expert on here at all but I am someone going through the same as you, being taken to court by BWLegal for an unfair parking invoice. Just wanted to say that I really understand how stressful and worrying this is and how it can make you ill. I have been through these feelings, however the experts here on this forum have been amazing and have helped me so much. Just remember you have done nothing wrong! BWLegal are not following fair and legal protocols. Please listen to the experts on here, they will help you. I hope no one minds me posting on here, just wanted the OP to know that he/she is not alone and that she has come to the right place for assistance.

Nine times out of ten these tickets are scams so complain to your MP.

Parliament is well aware of the MO of these private parking companies, and on 15th March 2019 a Bill was enacted to curb the excesses of these shysters. Codes of Practice are being drawn up, an independent appeals service will be set up, and access to the DVLA's date base more rigorously policed, persistent offenders denied access to the DVLA database and unable to operate.

Hopefully life will become impossible for the worst of these scammers, but until this is done you should still complain to your MP, citing the new legislation.

Just as the clampers were finally closed down, so hopefully will many of these Private Parking Companies.
You never know how far you can go until you go too far.

That's ok as they do need to prove they are talking to the right person.

A V5 is fine as it confirms the info they got from the DVLA.

No need to send anything else especially anything with numbers

More advice please. I emailed my v5 docs and they responded back with all pictures and original pcn. In one photo you can see another car parked on hatched lines. Bw legal are still contacting me with legal action. This is now causing family issues.
Clearly i cant post documents on here but is there anyone i can pm for help.
    Many thanks

Upload the documents to a hosting site. If you change http to hxxp you can post a broken link.

Someone will make it live for you.

    Please re-read post #17.

If that isn't clear enough for you, search the forum for hxxp to see how others do it.

    Even google knows about hxxp.
