battery problem

have a nokia lumia 640 the battery is dead when I plug charger in it buzzes comes up with Microsoft logo then battery charger indicator,the indicator has a red line its been on charge for over 24 hours & not moved a flashing plug is also on the indicator .any ideas :mad:

Try another charger.
Find someone who can source and fit a new battery.
Buy a new phone.0 -
The microsoft and nokia lumia phones have removable batteries so you can replace it yourself just by taking the back cover off. A new battery is about a fiver on ebay so nothing major lost if it turns out to be something else that is the problem.0
