Best USA car hire

Heading to Orlando next month. Where can I get the best car hire, value for money wise and insurance wise? Looking for just a midsize.

Just search on Kayak or Skyscanner.

Insurance in the USA is normally zero excess and all inclusive.

https://www.alamo.co.uk/Brits may yield a bargain too.

    Also look on the dibb

    The DIBB

Also Autoeurope are worth a look

    AutoEurope

It is worth noting that if you book Alamo then you can skip the counter by checking in online and just go straight to the garage to pick and collect your own car.

Finally, be aware that the different rental companies have different policies with regards to how you can pay for tolls - there are many toll roads around Orlando and in Florida generally. Again Alamo are one of the better ones for this. You can see the different rental company policies here:

Sunpss Toll Information on Car Rental Company Policies

    Good luck and enjoy.

In New York last year (2017 actually I think, time flies) it was miles cheaper to hire away from the airports and the tourist area too. I hired somewhere on the 46 in New Jersey for hundreds less, we just got an Uber from Manhattan and did the same when we returned it. It was with Enterprise, the same car from one of the big tourist airports or any Manhattan location cost about $250 more for 2 weeks. Might be worth a look, just use google maps then search car rentals and it will highlight them.

You mean if booked from a .uk website as an EU citizen. If you book via a U.S website, it won't automatically be included.
Also be aware that what is included might be the minimum allowed. So personal liability(SLI) of say US$20,000, as opposed to US$1,000,000 that is usually offered with standalone insurance.

I can recommend to look through these car rental sites. This is a big collection that I've recently found. Frankly speaking, I haven't used it yet, but I'm going to. In my opinion, it is more convenient to look for the necessary data on one site than looking through the pages of Google search results. I hope, this source will be helpful for you!

    Hmmmm, how odd.:huh::think:

p.s. some of those links on your "recommendation" aren't at all suitable for UK customers

Best to not recommend something you have not utilised yourself.
Especially, as aforementioned, that there are many US based websites as opposed to UK based. Meaning that there will be no CDW nor SLI/LIS included. A glaring omission.
In to the naughty corner you go.
