Keeper Liability VCS 'Law of Agency' CASE WON! Yet to be paid by VCS?

Hi guys,

SO a few weeks ago I had to defend myself in Nottingham small claims court against VCS.

Long story short they send me (the reg keeper) an ANPR Notice to Keeper 160 days late, and tried to argue keeper liability based on 'Law of Agency' - the Nick Jennings case. They had no proof I was driving at the time and I stated I was not the driver. Thanks to the advise of the legends on this site and as well as Parking Prankster, I was able to write up a strong defence.

For anybody finding themselves in a similar situation, just refer to the case of ANTHONY SMITH V EXCEL PARKING SERVICES (C0DP9C4E/M17X062) or VEHICLE CONTROL SERVICES V SARAH QUAYLE (C1DP0H0J). Both these cases came after Jennings, the Smith case was judged by a Circuit Judge and so is essentially binding. Transcripts can be found on parking pranksters site. If you want a copy of my witness statement, direct message me.

*Anyway my question: The judge awarded me costs and gave VCS until today at 4pm to pay me, which they haven't. I emailed them a few days ago with a reminder but not heard anything back. Whats the best course of action? IT hasn't been 30 days yet so from my understanding they won't receive a CCJ against them but who do I even inform I haven't received payment?

As anyway any advice would be great.

    First of all, well done, and thanks for the additional info about the other cases.

    Tell the judge/court you haven't been paid.

    Send an LBC to the scammers.

    Complain to their ATA.

    Complain to your MP.

    Yet another VCS failure :rotfl::rotfl:

    Maybe they cannot afford it so send in the court bailiffs to seize their goods.
