It looks the same as usual but there is no name or address for the buyer as normally shows to send to and it doesn't say anything about seller protection. It's only possible to get the address (which doesn't show a name to send to, just an Argos store but from what's being said maybe the name doesn't matter as the ecp number will cover that).

I'm a little confused, so are you saying it does show the Argos address? In that case that's all you need, or do you mean it is entirely blank as it would be for say a friends and family payment.

Go into the PayPal transaction in your PayPal account, at the top it should show Ok to send, also try the email PayPal sent, that also should show it. It is difficult to say exactly where it will be as there appears to be more than one sort of PayPal notification, but it will be there somewhere by the address.

    .

Sorry for the confusion, the address is only showing on Ebay, either by order details page or print a label page. It doesn't show any name or address on Paypal at all anywhere, I've looked. Usually when I've sold things (not Click and Collect) Paypal says okay to send but not this time.

I sent parcel yesterday, making sure ecp code was right (there was no name to send to either, so maybe the code is all that's needed?!) I will keep others updated as to how it goes.
  • I don't know how the friends and family payment normally looks as I've never received one. I know the usual fees were taken from the payment and from what I've read if it's a F/F payment, there are no fees right? So that makes me think it wasn't that.

There was no name or the address so I just sent it using the details as supplied from the print label option but I made sure I copied it exactly as someone advised earlier.

But now I'm thinking about it, should I have asked for the name or should I message buyer to tell them how to identify the parcel when they go to collect it? Or is that what the ecp code is for?

My parcel is still in transit...maybe will arrive tomorrow or Tuesday so i'll keep everyone updated.

the buyer will get an email when it is ready to collect with a collection code.

All they have to do is show them the email.
  • Just an update, buyer confirmed safe receipt of parcel and left positive feedback.

I should have added that I was a bit worried as their feedback was only 3 when purchased from me, even though she has been registered for 3 years. The last 2 feedbacks were in the past month so I was worried that someone had got access to her account and had been using it for fraudulent transactions as that happened to me before and Ebay refunded all the monies to the buyer but fortunately I hadn't sent the item, so was just a bit nervous after that whole thing before.

So far all is okay, buyer is happy so that is main thing. Hope that helps someone.
