Tired of house hunting

I think you are tired of it all because you are offering well below what people actually want or need.
You can keep doing this and at some point it will be more than " we buy any house, but leave you with nought.com offers.
Yes it's nice to get a few quid off but for me it's about living where I want to be at that particular time which is the deal breaker0 -
Seriously it’s actually had nothing to do with the price. We had two other homes we put offers in, accepted first time, however both had issues, one with subsidence, the other with trees causing issues close to the house.
We shall see.0 -

We shall see.
Do you think those issues might be the reason your offers were accepted?0 -
Good point.
The first house looked a complete bargain when I put the offer in. However we found out from people in the area offers much lower had been put in. Since we pulled out the price has been lowered significantly.
My point is that, valuations are fine, but it’s not until you get surveyors reports etc that price is good for me.0 -
Forgive me, but are you walking away too quickly on surveyor reports ?? They can be pretty generic and what you might find too much to handle others might thinks a few weekends DIYLocornwall wrote: »Good point.

There's no such thing as a price that works every time.
You'll just to pull your big boy pants on and make an actual decision.... and then either spend the rest of your life kicking yourself for not trying lower, or kicking yourself because somebody offered more and they took their arm off.0 -

Haha. That’s why I posted in this forum, to get open, honest advice.
I didn’t need a surveyor’s report on the first one. I was told by two people the owner had been told it needed underpinning and there were large cracks close to the foundation. He was then seem filling in the cracks with concrete and covering that up.0 -
If owners have recently dropped price, they aren't going to want to drop a huge amount again so soon.Decluttering, 20 mins / day Jan 2024 2/20

I'm sure they'll be more than happy to give you £40.000 . .0
