My black box insurance was cancelled because of "speeding" which I didn't do? Please help!

It might be possible that they got the speed limit of the road mixed up because the same road is 30mph at the start and becomes 40mph later on (when I was going 49mph) so maybe they thought I was still on the 30mph road? I'm not sure what to do.
This is pretty common. GPS is not as accurate as people think, and often the maps they compare to are wrong anyway. It's particularly bad on roads where the speed limit changes.
You should make an official complaint using their complaints procedure. Ask to know exactly where you were supposed to have been speeding. Ask for the exact coordinates. You can then check if the limit they have is right.0 -

Did you read the rest of the thread?
In particular when the admit that when driving in a 30mph that they accelerate well before the road changes to a 50mph and ask if thats sensible.0 -

Kinda stopped reading when I got to that bit.
No mate, you do 30 in a 30, 40 in a 40 etc.
You speed up after the road sign tells you the road speed limit has increased.
Be thankful it was the blackbox that caught you and not the police.
If you are old enough to drive, you are old enough to read the highway code, you are old enough to stick to the speed limits.
If you want to drive fast, do 70 on the motorway.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.0 -

Absolutely agree 100% with everything here. You've been speeding. Your insurer caught you speeding. Your insurance has been cancelled. Good on the insurance company I say
As for only finding more expensive insurance rates now...GOOD! You've been caught speeding which you freely admit to doing, and had your insurance cancelled. They don't reward you for stuff like that you know. You really think you should get lower rates? You come across deluded and entitled tbh. Driving is a privilege, not an automatic right and I'm glad insurers are taking a hard line and potentially taking speeding idiots off the road. I've got zero sympathy for you.0
